The ROV/Subsea vessels are highly specialized vessels prepared for advanced sub sea work.

Edda Freya entered this market following the modifications in 2000 and 2002. The vessel worked for DeepOcean during the seasons of 2000, 2001 and 2002. The first job in 2000/2001 included cable lay, trenching, survey and ROV duties simultaneously. The vessel were operating as ROV-/survey vessel for DeepOcean/Statoil in 2001 and 2002.

Edda Freya operated in the PSV market again from 2002 until 2005, but is now back in ROV-/Survey mode working for Statoil.

Edda Fonn was delivered in 2003 and has since mainly worked for DeepOcean/Statoil involved in ROV-/survey duties in the North Sea.
The vessel carried out same duties in the Black Sea during the winter season of 2003/2004 and of Gibraltar and Libya during the winter season of 2004/2005.

Edda Fjord may also be mobilized to serve the same market. The vessel carried out ROV-/survey work while working as cable lay vessel in Nexans's operations between "Troll A" and Kolsnes, Norway in 2004.
