The company aims to achieve and maintain the highest possible standards of safety, environmental integrity and quality in all its activities ashore and afloat.
Management System and Certification
A quality Assurance System was implemented in 1984 based on NS5901. In 1995 this was revised and improved to meet the standards of the International Safety Management Code (ISM Code).
Since 1996 the company has held Document of Compliance (DOC) issued by Det Norske Veritas confirming that its Safety Management System and Operational Procedures meets the standards of the International Safety Management (ISM) Code. All vessel exceeding 500 GRT hold Safety Management Certificates issued according to the ISM Code.
According to our knowledge, our tugs Silex & Thrax were the first tugs in the world to achieve this standard.
The requirements defined in NS-EN ISO 14001 - 2004 (Environmental Management) is implemented in the Management System and the 26nd of June 2006 we received accreditation according to NS-EN ISO 14001 Environmental Management System by Det Norske Veritas.

The company is qualified in the Achilles Joint Qualification Syatem for suppliers to the oil industry in Norway and Denmark. The qualification concerns the product and service categories Supply vessels and Tugs/ROV Support.

Performance
Several of our vessels have achieved remarkable safety performance. Among these performances the tugs Dux and Pax should be highlighted.
Dux and Pax has been working at the Statoil Kårstø Gas Terminal for over 20 years without any lost time incident (LTI).
Thanks to highly skilled and safety minded personnel on board our vessels, we can clearly demonstrate that our target 0 LTI is achievable !
