Thrax starts her third year at Bantry Bay 1st November 2011
ConocoPhillips Ireland has exercised another option of one (1) year as from 1st November 2011 for T/B Thrax for tug operation services at the Bantry Bay Terminal in Ireland.
T/B Thrax - which is an advanced azimuth stern drive tug of 62 t Bollard Pull - has been in operation for ConocoPhillips at Bantry Bay terminal since 1st November 2009.
Owners of T/B Thrax - Lee Towage Limited - a subsidiary of Østensjø Rederi AS - has since 1997 conducted towage duties at the ConocoPhillips Whitegate Refinery by employing the T/B Alex.
The the 62 t Bollard Pull tug is still available for third party work when the ConocoPhillips work allows for it. Enquiries should be directed to the Østensjø Chartering desk - chartering@ostensjo.no
