The company was the first company to be awarded a contract to design, build and operate a dedicated Escort Tug. The tug was delivered in 1993 to serve the Norsk Hydro Sture and Statoil Mongstad oil terminals on the west coast of Norway.
The company has been closely involved in the development of all aspects of escort towage, which has acquired a new significance after the "Exxon Valdez" incident.
The company have taken delivery of four new large Voith tractor tugs; that is Velox in 2000, Tenax in 2005, Phenix in 2006 and Apex in 2007,.
